NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 18385 : 2016 ‘Minimizing the risk of human DNA contamination in products used to collect, store and analyze biological material for forensic purposes - Requirements’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Anatomy and Forensic Sciences Equipment Sectional Committee and after approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
