NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 17940 : 2015 ‘Ships and marine technology - Hinged watertight doors’ issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Shipbuilding Sectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.
