NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO/TS 17251 : 2016 ‘Health informatics - Business requirements for a syntax to exchange structured dose information for medicinal products’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Health Informatics Sectional Committee and after approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
