NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 17175 : 2017 ‘Bidis - Determination of total and nicotine-free dry particulate matter using a linear routine analytical smoking machine’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standard on recommendation of the Tobacco and Tobacco Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Food and Agriculture Division Council.
