NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 204 : 2018 ‘Metallic materials - Uniaxial creep testing in tension - Method of test’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Mechanical Testing of Metals Sectional Committee and approval of the Metallurgical Engineering Division Council.

The Committee has decided to adopt this standard under dual Numbering system to make it align with ISO 204 : 2018 .
