NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 22857 : 2013 ‘Health informatics - Guidelines on data protection to facilitate trans-border flows of personal health data’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Health Informatics Sectional Committee and after approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
