1. SCOPE

1.1 This standard covers minimum requirements of potable copper, stainless steel, aluminium bottle for carrying drinking water up to 1 500 ml.

1.2 This Standard cover the addition requirements and shapes of aluminium bottle. Basic requirements of aluminium bottle are covered in IS 3603.

1.3 This standard does not cover insulated and vacuum flask.
