NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with ISO 25539-2 : 2020 ‘Cardiovascular Implants - Endovascular Devices Part 2 Vascular Stents’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Instruments Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.

This standard supersedes IS/ISO 25539-2 : 2012 Cardiovascular Implants - Endovascular Devices Part 2 Vascular Stents. After publication of this standard, IS/ISO 25539-2 : 2012 shall be treated as withdrawn.
