NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO/TR 19601 : 2017 ‘Nanotechnologies - Aerosol generation for air exposure studies of nano-objects and their aggregates and agglomerates (NOAA)’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Nanotechnologies Sectional Committee and approval of the Metallurgical Engineering Division Council.

The Committee has decided to adopt this standard under dual numbering system to make it align with ISO/TR 19601 : 2017.
