NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with ISO 13506-1 : 2017 ‘Protective clothing against heat and flame - Part 1: Test method for complete garments - Measurement of transferred energy using an instrumented manikin’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Textiles Protective Clothing Sectional Committee and approval of the Textiles Division Council.
