NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with IEC 62840-2 ‘Electric Vehicle Battery Swap System ¾ Part 2 Safety Requirements’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Electrotechnology in Mobility Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.

This standard has been issued in several parts. Other parts in this series are :
