This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 22526-2 : 2020 ‘Plastics - Carbon and environmental footprint of biobased plastics - Part 2: Material carbon footprint, amount (mass) of CO2 removed from the air and incorporated into polymer molecule’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Methods of Sampling and Test for Plastics Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
