1. SCOPE

This standard provides the method for determination of performance relating to safety of external building envelope like glazed curtain walls, exterior doors, exterior windows, impact protective systems (shutters, screens), skylight, wall cladding system, etc, impacted by wind borne debris, for buildings and other structures located in geographic regions that are prone to cyclone or extreme wind events.
