NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 6185-3 : 2014 ‘Inflatable Boats - Part 3: Boats with a hull length less than 8 m with a motor rating of 15 kW and greater’ issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the Inland Harbour Crafts and Fishing Vessels Sectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.

This standard has been issued in several parts. Other parts in this series are:

Part 1 Boats with a maximum motor power rating of 4.5 kW

Part 2 Boats with a maximum motor power rating of 4.5 kW to 15 kW inclusive
