NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 25841 : 2017 ‘Female condoms - Requirements and test methods’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Obstetrics and Gynaecological Instruments and Appliances Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.

This standard was first published in 2014 as IS/ISO 25841 : 2014 ‘Female condoms - Requirements and test methods’. The first revision has been undertaken to align it with the latest edition of ISO 25841 : 2017. Subsequent to publication of this standard, IS/ISO 25841 : 2014 shall stand withdrawn.
