This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 4037-4 : 2019 ‘Radiological Protection - X and Gammareference radiation for calibrating dosemeters and doserate meters for determining their response as a function of photon energy - Part 4 : Calibration of area and personal dosemeters in low energy X reference radiation fields’issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Nuclear Energy for Peaceful Applications Sectional Committee and approval of the Chemical Division Council.
