IS 1811 : 1984 Methods of sampling foundry sands

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the procedure to be followed indrawing and preparing samples from a bulk of sand in order todetermine the properties of the sand sampled. Sampling fromconsignments both bulk and packed and on foundry floor have beenconsidered separately.
