NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 22367 : 2020 ‘Medical laboratories - Application of risk management to medical laboratories’ issued by International Organization for Standardization was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Hospital Planning Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.

This standard supersedes the IS/ISO/TS 22367 : 2008 which was published in 2019 as an identical adoption of ISO/TS 22367 : 2008 ‘Medical laboratories - Reduction of error through risk management and continual improvement’. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 22367.
