NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with ISO 16358-2 : 2013 ‘Air-cooled air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps - Testing and calculating methods for seasonal performance factors - Part 2: Heating seasonal performance factor’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division council.

The bin temperatures and the corresponding bin hours specified in Table 3 of this standard are tentative and is subject to review as and when sufficient data on bin temperature and corresponding bin hours across India are established in the near future.

This standard has been published in three parts. The other parts in this series under the general title ‘Air-cooled air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps - Testing and calculating methods for seasonal performance factors’ are:
