NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 22810 : 2010 ‘Horology - Water-resistant watches’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Horology Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.

This standard supersedes IS 9243 (Part 3) : 1987 ‘Methods of test for wrist watches: Part 3 Waterresistant (first revision)’.
