NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 6) which is identical with ISO 10555-6 : 2015 ‘Intravascular catheters - Sterile and single-use catheters - Part 6: Subcutaneous implanted ports’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Hospital Equipment and Surgical Disposable Products Sectional Committee and after approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.

The amendment 1 published in 2019 to ISO 10555-6 : 2015 is given at the end of this publication.
