NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 27789 : 2021 ‘Health informatics - Audit trails for electronic health records’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Health Informatics Sectional Committee and after approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.

This Indian Standard supersedes IS/ISO 27789 : 2013 which was published in 2018 as an identical adoption of ISO 27789 : 2013 ‘Health informatics - Audit trails for electronic health records’.
