NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO/TS 17865 : 2016 ‘Geometrical product specifications (GPS) — Guidelines for the evaluation of coordinate measuring machine (CMM) test uncertainty for CMMs using single and multiple stylus contacting probing systems ’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Engineering Metrology Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.
