NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is modified adoption of ISO 13779-2 : 2018 ‘Implants for surgery - Hydroxyapatite - Part 2: Thermally sprayed coatings of hydroxyapatite’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Orthopaedic Instruments, Implants and Accessories Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
