IS 18594 : Part 2 : 2025/ISO 19152-2 : 2025 Geographic Information - Land Administration Domain Model (LADM) - Part 2 Land Registration
NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (Part 2) (First Revision) which is identical to ISO 19152-2 : 2025 'Geographic information - Land administration domain model (LADM) - Part 2: Land registration' issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Geospatial Information Sectional Committee and the approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
IS 18594 was first published in 2018 and was identical to ISO 19152 : 2012. Further, ISO 19152 was divided into multipart standards. ISO 19152 (Part 1) has been aligned with IS 18594 (Part 1). This revision of this standard has been brought out to create IS 18594 (Part 2) so as to align it with ISO 19152 (Part 2).
The text of ISO standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain conventions are however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:
a) Wherever the words 'International Standard' appear referring to this standard, they should be read as 'Indian Standard'; and
b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker while in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker.
