IS 18608 : 2024 Cryogenic Vessels - Valves for Cryogenic Vessels
1 SCOPE
1.1 This standard specifies the requirements for the design manufacture and testing of valves for a rated temperature of - 50 °C and not below - 196 °C for use with cryogenic vessel up to 1 000 litres water capacity.
1.2 This standard applies to types of cryogenic valves mainly ball valves, globe valves, check valves, including vacuum jacketed cryogenic valves up to DN 25.
