NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical to ISO 22705-2 : 2023 'Springs - Measurement and test parameters - Part 2: Cold formed cylindrical helical extension springs' issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of Springs and Suspension Systems Sectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.
This standard is one of the part of standards on 'Springs - Measurement and test parameters'. Other part of this series is as follows:

The text of ISO standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain terminologies and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:
a) Wherever the words 'International Standard' appear referring to this standard, they should beread as 'Indian Standard'; and
b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker, while in Indian Standards, the current practiceis to use a point (.) as the decimal marker.
