This Indian Standard which (Part 4) is identical to ISO 29061-4 : 2017 'Road vehicles - Methods and criteria for usability evaluation of child restraint systems and their interface with vehicle anchorage systems - Part 4: Securing of child in child restraint system and daily handling aspects' issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Passive Safety Crash Protection Systems Sectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.
This standard is one of the parts on 'Road vehicles - Methods and criteria for usability evaluation of child restraint systems and their interface with vehicle anchorage systems'. Other parts of this standard are:

The text of ISO standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain terminologies and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:
