NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (Part 3) which is identical to ISO/TS 22239-3 : 2017 'Road vehicles - Child seat presence and orientation detection system (CPOD) - Part 3: Labelling' issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Passive Safety Crash Protection Systems Sectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.
This standard is one of the parts on 'Road vehicles - Child seat presence and orientation detection system (CPOD)'. Other parts of this standard are:

The text of ISO standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain terminologies and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:

b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker, while in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker.
