IS 1881 : 1998 Code of Practice for Indoor Installation of Public Address Systems

1 Scope

This code of practice, dealing with the installation of publicaddress systems inside closed auditoria and other similarenclosures, seeks to establish:

a) a standard practice for such installations, and

b) a proper set of criteria for good and reliable performanceensuring desired quality of reproduction from the system as a wholein the enclosure.

This code applies to temporary as well as permanent indoorinstallations.
