IS 18848 : 2024 Non-Ducted Portable Air-Cooled Air Conditioners and Air-to-Air Heat Pumps having a Single Exhaust Duct - Testing and Rating for Performance (ISO 18326 : 2018, MOD)

FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is modified adoption of ISO 18326 : 2018 'Non-ducted portable air-cooled air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps having a single exhaust duct - Testing and rating for performance' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards, on recommendation of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.

The text of ISO standard has been approved for publication as an Indian Standard with modifications (see National Annex A). Additionally, certain terminologies and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:

a) Wherever the words 'International Standard' appear referring to this standard, they should be read as 'Indian Standard'; and

b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker while in Indian Standards the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker.
