NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard IS 1885 (Part 73) (Second Revision) which is identical with IEC 60050-113 : 2011 ‘International Electrotechnical Vocabulary (IEV) - Part 113: Physics for Electrotechnology’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Basic Electrotechnical Standards and Power Quality Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
