This Indian Standard (Part 81) which is identical with IEC Pub50 (302) (1983) `International electrotechnical vocabulary -Chapter 302 : Electrical measuring instruments, issued by theInternational Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), was adopted by theBureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of BasicElectrotechnical Standards Sectional Committee and approval of theElectrotechnical Division Council.
