NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical to ISO 14839-3 : 2006 'Mechanical vibration - Vibration of rotating machinery equipped with active magnetic bearings - Part 3: Evaluation of stability margin' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Bearings Sectional Committee and after approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.
