IS 19060 : Part 1 : 2024 Cryogenic Vessels - Large Transportable Vacuum-Insulated Vessels - Part 1 Design, Fabrication, Inspection and Testing (ISO 20421-1 : 2019, MOD)

NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is modified adoption with ISO 20421-1 : 2019 'Cryogenic vessels - Large transportable vacuum-insulated vessels - Part 1: Design, fabrication, inspection and testing' published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Gas Cylinders Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.

The text of ISO standard has been approved for publication as Indian Standard with modifications (see National Annex L). Additionally, certain terminologies and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:

a) Wherever the words 'International Standard' appear, referring to this standard, they should be read as 'Indian Standard'; and

b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker, while in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker.
