1 SCOPE

This standard prescribes the preparation and general specifications of hydro-alcoholic extract of Gymnema sylvestre prepared from the dried leaves of Gymnema sylvestre (Retz.) R.Br. ex Sm. (Family Asclepiadaceae /Apocynaceae).
