1 SCOPE

1.1 This standard covers the requirement of prepainted zinc-aluminium-magnesium alloy coated steel strip and sheet.

1.2 Sheets and coils are produced by continuously coating and baking durable synthetic resin paint, for example, polyester, epoxy, acrylic, fluorocarbon etc., over both surfaces or single surface of Zinc- Aluminum-Magnesium Alloy coated steel strip or sheet.

1.3 This standard covers requirement for different classes of durability of paint coatings in accordance with the severity of the application.
