IS 19242 : 2025/ISO 23462 : 2014 Space Systems - Guidelines to Define the Management Framework for a Space Project
NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard which is identical to ISO 23462 'Space systems - Guidelines to define the management framework for a space project' issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of Air and Space Vehicles Sectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.
This first edition of ISO 23462 cancels and replaces the first edition of ISO/TR 23462 : 2007, which has been technically revised.
The text of ISO standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain terminologies and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:
a) Wherever the words 'International Standard' appear referring to this standard, they should be read as 'Indian Standard'; and
b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker, while in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker.
