IS 19281 : Part 1 : 2025/ISO 21266-1 : 2018 Road Vehicles - Compressed Gaseous Hydrogen (CGH2) and Hydrogen/Natural Gas Blends Fuel Systems - Part 1 Safety Requirements

NATIONAL FOREWORD

This standard (Part 1) which is identical to ISO 21266-1 : 2018 'Road vehicles - Compressed gaseous hydrogen (CGH2) and hydrogen/natural gas blends fuel systems - Part 1: Safety requirements' issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of Automotive Vehicles Running on Non Conventional Energy Sources Sectional Committee and after approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.

The text of ISO standard has been approved for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain terminologies and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:

a) Wherever the words 'International Standard' appear referring to this standard, they should beread as 'Indian Standard'; and

b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker, while in Indian Standards, the current practice isto use a point (.) as the decimal marker.
