This Indian Standard which is identical to ISO 16548 : 2012 'Ships and marine technology Ship design - General guidance on emergency towing procedures' issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of Shipbuilding Sectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.
