This Indian Standard which is identical to ISO 30000 : 2009 'Ships and marine technology - Ship recyclingmanagement systems - Specifications formanagement systems for safe and environmentally sound ship recycling facilities' issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of Shipbuilding Sectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.
