1 SCOPE

This standard specifies the method for the quantitative determination of vitamin B12 forms, specifically cyanocobalamin and methylcobalamin, in food matrices such as fortified Atta (flour), almonds and similar matrices, using the UHPLCMS/ MS technique. Its application to other food matrices requires appropriate laboratory verification or validation, as applicable.
