1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the essential features and methodsof use of the following fixing devices suitable for use in wallsand ceilings of solid construction:

a) Expansion wall plugs

b) Expansion shells

c) Caulked-in anchor devices

d) Built-in devices

1.2 This standard does not cover the use of fixing devices inhollow walls and cavity construction.
