1 SCOPE

1.1 This standard covers the requirements for steel sheets and strips, in coils and cut lengths, metalliccoated by the continuous hot-dip process, with aluminium-silicon alloy (AS) or aluminium (AL) coating.

1.2 The product is intended for applications requiring heat resistance and also for both corrosion and heat resistance. The steel sheet and strip are produced in several quality designations and grades, coating type, coating mass, surface treatments and coating finish conditions, designed to be compatible with varying application requirements.
