IS 1950 : 1962 Code of practice for sound insulation of non-industrial buildings

1 Scope

1.1 This code lays down acceptable noise levels and soundinsulation standards in non-industrial buildings such as,dwellings, schools, hospitals and office buildings, and recommendsmethods of minimizing transmission of air-borne and structure-bornenoises. It does not include standards for industrial buildings.
