IS 1970 : 2024 Crop Protection Equipment - Hand-Operated Compression Knapsack Sprayer - Specification
1 SCOPE
1.1 This standard specifies material, performance, constructional and other requirements of handoperated compression knapsack sprayer (also called as mechanical sprayer), non-pressure retaining type used for spraying plant protection substances (for example pesticides).
1.2 The maximum working pressure of this type of sprayers is 400 kPa (100 kPa = 1.019 7 kgf/cm2 =1 bar).
