NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 11) which is identical with IEC 60076-11 : 2018 ‘Power transformers - Part 11: Dry-type transformers’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Transformers Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.

This standard specifies the requirements for dry-type power transformers which were earlier covered in IS 11171 : 1985. With the publication of this standard, IS 11171: 1985 is superseded and hence shall be withdrawn.
