IS 2086 : 1993 Carriers and bases used in rewirable type electric fuses for voltages upto 650V (Superseding IS 8724)

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers performance requirements and tests aswell as dimensions of carriers and bases used in rewirable typeelectric fuses having a rated current up to and including 100 Ameant for alternating current systems of voltages not exceeding 650between lines.

1.2 The specification does not cover fuse-wire used in rewirabletype fuses for which the provisions given in IS 9926 : 1981 shallapply.
