IS 2109 : 1982 Methods of sampling of dolomite, limestone and other allied materias

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the procedure to be followed incollecting and preparing samples from a lot in order to determinesize distribution, moisture content and chemical analysis ofdolomite, limestone and other allied materials in the lot, It givesdetailed procedures for sampling from stock piles, loaded wagons,trucks, conveyors and shipholds.

1.1.1 This standard also includes a method for estimating andreporting the quality characteristics of dolomite, limestone andother allied materials supplied in bulk.
