IS 2167 : 2024/ISO 22044 : 2021 Commercial Beverage Coolers - Classification, Requirements and Test Conditions
NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (Third Revision) which is identical to ISO 22044 : 2021 'Commercial beverage coolers - Classification requirements and test conditions' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards, on the recommendation of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Sectional Committee had been approved by the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
This standard was first published in 1962 and subsequently revised in 1983 and 2019. In this revision, the standard has been harmonized with ISO 22044 : 2021 ‘Commercial beverage coolers - Classification, requirements and test conditions’.
The text of ISO standard has been approved for publication as Indian Standard without deviations. Certain terminologies and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:
a) Wherever the words 'International Standard' appear referring to this standard, they should be read as 'Indian Standard'; and
b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker while in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as a decimal marker.
